Love gave a deeper purpose to a professional athlete
Through LoveDefined I discovered what it meant to be loved as I lived as a professional athlete and how that love empowered me as a Christian to actually improve my life as an athlete.
LoveDefined unlocked how I was designed by God to compete through the power of love and not through other motivations such as anger, anxiety, or the need for man’s approval.
LoveDefined showed practical ways of how to love while actually being in a competitive sport. It developed a peace and joy within me while playing that made my game better.
Before, I did not know how the love of God and competitive sports fit together and it had created many frustrations while growing up with both God and sports at work in my desires. I did not know how to integrate God and my faith into my life as an athlete.
LoveDefined helped unlock Gods love and transformational power to me. I could then connect God’s love in practical ways into the world of sports.
Not only did this transform my own game as an athlete, but I also started coaching others in their own different fields of sport and saw how it definitely increased my ability to be a better coach. It had such an impact that the athletes were asking what kind of coaching was I using because they could experience their own growth and development as well!
